1: IIP data for month of may has come.
At 2.7% growth it has showed 7th consecutive month of
growth.
2: FDI in ecommerce : Debate is to
define what is ecommerce. Stakeholders include Retailer association
of India , Confederation of All India Traders.
3: Greece has come up with Austerity
proposals. Proposals include new VAT , pension , salary changes , New
tax revenue policy , Privatization.
4: Coastal Zone management authority
has responsibility of Project appraisal , coastal zone mapping ,
action against violations , conservation of coastal areas. Issues
have been associated with post clearnace monitoring , lack of site
visit , heavy load on state coastal zone management authority.
5: Antrix is commercial arm of ISRO .
It takes order to send satellites ( nano , micro , normal ) into
space using PSLV launch vehicle. This has added to monetary gains for
ISRO.
6: Issue of protection of whistle
blowers . For this act has been passed by parliament which is yet to
be notified. One loophole in the act is that it fails to recognize

, Cayman Island , Luxumberg . Black money act has provision of 30%
tax on foreign earnings and fine upto 90% . jail term can also be
used. MCAA has 59 members.
Expert comment : Whistle blowers act
and Black money act are important for exam point of view. Loop holes
and implementation issues should be prepared thoroughly from current
news and write ups prepared on this. On environment from project
clearance will remain hotly debated topic for now with aggressive
stance of government to clear the projects .
